Finding "Ohana" on the Internet is like finding a hidden treasure! A spectacular summer vacation in rural Oahu takes a thrilling turn when two Brooklyn-based siblings discover an ancient journal referring to long lost treasure during an ocean adventure that brings them together with an unlikely new friend. With visions of gold, silver and an ancient statue hidden within its pages, the search begins for these legendary artifacts. The castaways include a pregnant teenager and her aging aunt, an alcoholic priest and his unfortunate son, and a Native American who wear sandals and carry a skull. Together they must investigate the whereabouts of the three artifacts and hopefully find their rightful home in Hawaii.
With stunning scenery and exotic surroundings, Hawaii is the perfect vacation spot for families with small children. Even kids as young as five will love visiting this fantasy island paradise filled with waterfalls, sandy beaches and scenic trails. In fact, most all parks on the island are safe for families with small children, making it the perfect island playground for your children to enjoy themselves without causing harm to themselves or you. Imagine being able to take your children to the zoo, to the local amusement park, or to the ocean for some water-based fun - all without leaving the safety and comfort of your own home!
Unfortunately, not everyone lives near a beach or in a part of the island where there is access to these attractions. For those families who want to experience the magic of finding "Ohana" on their own, there are several options available. One option is to buy a DVD online that describes the exciting treasure hunt, and includes maps and descriptions as well as helpful hints for finding the artifacts located on each island. Another option is to buy an actual "Ohana" key chain that features the same characters and is perfect for slipping into your pocket, or even for carrying around the bag of your kids!
